From vulnerable children and families, political unrest, and fires, to extreme weather events in communities across South Africa are experiencing an increase and intensity in crises. We have been entrusted with a unique moment in human history, full of both heartbreak and potential.
Oftentimes, individual churches have the desire to help but find themselves ill-equipped and unprepared to meet the immediate needs of those impacted by crisis. No one pastor or church can address the impacts of crisis in your community, BUT what if there was a way to unite the churches of your community into a “city on a hill that cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14-16) even in the darkest of moments? What if the churches in your community could lead the way in serving the community by planning, training and preparing Christians, in advance, to effectively respond to crises together?
